Sensei Kohn has been the director and head instructor of North Shore Dojo since its inception in 1979. In February 2010, he was officially appointed USA Karate Chairman of the USA Karate Disabled Program by the United States Olympic Committee. Sensei Angela Rowland
Instructor
Angela has been training at North Shore Dojo for fifteen years and is currently a Second Degree Black Belt. Her strong commitment to Shotokan Karate is displayed by her ten years of competing. She is a five time national champion and a member of the junior national team. She has also medaled internationally. Angela is a passionate teacher with five years of teaching experience with children and adults of all abilities. Her talent for teaching and athletics makes her motivational role model for her peers.
Sasha Gerritson
Business Manager
Sasha joined North Shore Dojo as business manager in 2012 and earned her black belt in less than two years. In addition to overseeing operations of the dojo, Sasha is the Executive Director of the Karate Can-Do Foundation. In addition to her work with the dojo and several karate organizations, Sasha is extremely active in philanthropy and serves on several boards.
